Hah, so I'm in IB and a requirement of IB students is TOK (theory of knowledge) and I found the discussion we had during TOK really interesting and I'm just wondering what your guys' thoughts were about this as well.

I'll try to summarize as best as I can. It's about Drug Wars that is actually getting bigger every day. In fact, it's become such a big problem in Mexico that one of President Obama's top priorities when he goes to Mexico tomorrow, is to talk with the President of Mexico about Drug Wars. In Mexico, drug gangs are everywhere, killing everyone getting in the way or for no reason. The US provides 90% of the assault weapons to these drug gangs and are the primary customers wanting drugs from Mexico. Unfortunately, the Mexican government is too corrupt with these drug gangs buying off government and police officials that basically, there is no government in Mexico which is too corrupt.

In our discussion, debatable questions started to be asked:

Who is to blame for this? America? Mexico? Both?
What are possible solutions to this issue?
