:?: Does anyone know how X ends? I did an ebil thing and went to the last chapter and read it, but there's no real end. It shows Fuuma holdong the holy sword and about to stabe Kamui, but it ends there! Is it supposed to be continued into Tsubasa (since u meet the characters there too. but Fuuma wasnt ebil in Tsubasa....), or is the website i'm reading on just not finish it even tho they said they did? I read on mangafox.com, but if anyone knows anothr website i can read X on, plz tell me! I wanna kno if mangafox is just ripping me off, or if thats how the series ends. If thats how it ends, CLAMP, I'm coming for u..... I also noticed the art style change, CLAMP switched over to the new art style before they finished X.......I personally think the new style is better/worse than the old one. the old one the boys were tooooo pretty....

Tsubasa isn't a continuation of any CLAMP work... It's a compilation of them...

I think someone sacrifices himself... It's been so long... You can always Wikipedia the ending LOL.

Oh...i nevr thought of going to wikipedia for the end....*smacks head* Ty Phoenix.
As i been reading, i noticed that CLAMP combines a lot of their series together. Clamp School Detectives (and the othr series that stem off of it) and Tokyo Babylon are in X. i was shocked.....I sound rly noobish, I need to read more!! *feverishly starts reading*

CLAMP has issues about dropping you off the deep end and not ending some things...

I know Tokyo Babylon is the start to Subaru Sumeragi story and how he wanted to take revenge for his sister from a friend he held dear... then their story continued in X/1999, were they were again on opposite sides, but in a strange way still loved each other...

But due the death of the 11 year old Jun in the story the backers of book thought that the series was to violent and had the series stopped... then they thought they would go the route of giving you more background info on the characters and call it good...leaving the ending for you to guess at..

Then they thought to release the movie, to make readers happy and give you an ending... since I don't know if you have watched it, I won't say any more on it...

As how it ties into Clamp School Detectives... I think they are reincarnates of pasts lives.. or so I heard, since I have not read the series or watched it I'm not 100% sure..

But this has also made me leary of reading any more from CLAMP, because either the series are really long... or they just stop and leave you with no ending or hardly a ending to be satisfied with..

Chobits and Angelic Layer are good and solid series that actually do finish if you are looking for something from them with a sense of conclusion.

X the manga is on indeffinate hiatus due to a number of reasons (such as the violent plotline, devastating earthquakes in Tokyo at the time, etc.). CLAMP still haven't finished it, damn them.
X is set in the same 'universe' as CLAMP School Detectives and Tokyo Babylon =3 So that's why the characters from previous series appear in X. Tsubasa, however, is a completely different plotline, with completely different characters, set in the CLAMP universe. The characters that appear in Tsubasa are all alternate versions of the ones in the original manga (well, mostly. I'M LOOKING AT YOU SYAO.)

X TV and X the movie both have completely different endings. And they both nearly made me cry. But neither compare to the manga, so I will be angrily awaiting the end of this series once CLAMP decide to pick it up again, if they ever do x.x
