what's your favorite team?

i've been a Lakers fan ever since i found out about basketball.

and, i feel that the Lakers will win the championship this year.

they have the best player in the league, Kobe Bryant, and he has the best supporting cast to help him achieve what every NBA team plays for.

if anyone think otherwise, please speak up.

I don't really watch basketball, but I tend to play it on my PS2, and yeah, Lakers have the BEST stats in the whole game!

even though i love playing NBA games, i feel that the stats that they give to players are always off.

but, yeah, the Lakers do have some pretty good stats.

NBA PLAYOFFS...

who do you think is going to win the championship?

i'm for the Lakers of course. it's gonna be tough though.

the Celtics already have a 2-0 lead.

I don't watch much NBA, although I did catch the Piston's play on memorial day, and that rocked!! I'm from Michigan, so I would have to say that I back up the Detroit Pistons. As for the playoffs, I have no idea. ::Wild guessing:: I think the Lakers will make a close comeback, and it will be neck and neck, but overall the Lakers will come out winning.

A 2-0 lead is still early to tell. Comebacks have been made from that before. I wouldn't doubt if it happens with the Lakers.

i wasn't concerned about the 2-0 lead.

Kobe Bryant is the best player in the NBA, and in my opinion and many others, the world. he knows how to carry a team. and with the team he has THIS YEAR? WOW. it makes things easier for the MVP. there's no one in the NBA who has better offensive abiliies. and his defense is also one of the best. that's why he's All NBA Defensive 1st Team once again.

and with three point shooters like Sasha Vujacic and Vladimir Radmanovic, they not only bring more offense to the team, they also spread the floor. when they double team Bryant, one of them is left open to make a three point shot. Vujacic impresses me the most. he calls himself The Machine, and it suits him well. he is extemely efficient and doesn't miss much. even when he shoots an airball, he has the confidence to cotinue shooting. Vladimir is going a little past his element and moving with the ball more.

he also has his former teammate, Derek Fisher. his defense is incredible and he has one of the purest jump shots i've ever seen. he's 3rd all time in field goal percentage during the playoff Finals. he brings experience.

let's not forget the two forwards Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol. Lamar Odom has'nt played that great during the Finals so far, but he's been plagued with foul trouble every game. so, that's a big reason for that. but, he also just hasn't produced as well. However, Pau Gasol has flourished during the Finals. he has done well in every series for the Lakers and i don't intend to see him have a bad game.

and let's not forget the bench for the Lakers players like Luke Walton, Ronny Turiaf, and Vujacic bring energy off the bench.

Paul Pierce out of the three best players in the Celtics, including Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett, puts more of a concern for me. he may be slow, but, he knows how to score. he can be very hard to stop when he's on a roll.

even though Ray Allen hasn't been shooting as he once was with the Sonics, he's still a great knock down shooter and one of the best freethrow shooters to play the game.

Kevin Garnett, the Big Ticket, has been a problem as well for the Lakers. his passion for the game always makes him try his best. i honestly don't think i've ever seen a player more passionate than him play, besides Kobe Bryant. he has tremendous shooting abilities and great post-up moves.

with all of this said, i think my Lakers will win the championship. if they don't, i'll cry.

HELL YEAH I CRIED.

that was one of the worst days of my life. the Lakers let me down.

but, at least Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen finally go a ring. i'm glad for them. they finally got one.

They all deserved it. All of them and especially Kevin Garnett. He worked really hard this year. =P

his passion for the game is just incredibly sick to me. i don't know how he's that passionate. you could just see it in his eyes. he seems as though it's his first year in the league the way he gets excited for the game.

Well it was the first championship victory for them in a LONG time.

no, i mean for his whole career.

almost every year of his career, his team has had a horrible record and don't even make it to the playoffs. and he STILL shows excitement for the game. no matter how bad his team is, he doesn't let it affect his love for the game.

honestly, if i was him, being in a bad team almost every year of my career, my passion for the game would have probably faded.

it was even getting to a point that he gave away some of his money to other players so they could be happy and continue to play in the Timberwolves team.

some of the important players on the team complained that they weren't getting paid enough. he gladly gave some of his money to them.

WELL....

the NBA preseason is coming up for the month of October.

any suggestions as to who the surprise and unsurprising teams might be?

i'm always wrong on this, but, i think the Knicks will fianlly have a great season. they have some changes in their roster, including a new coach.

the Raptors shouldn't be counted out either. they now have Jermaine O'Neal. people have lost confidence in his performance on the court. but, i think if he's with Chris Bosh, they could make a great duo in the paint.

i MAY be wrong on this, but, i don't think the Spurs will do that well. they're too FREAKIN' old. even though they usually do well every season, i think from what happened in the playoffs, they realize that they might need some roster changes.

and let's not forget my LAKERS!!!! they're DEFINITELY winning the championship this year. we have Andrew Bynum now! he's back, so, he could help Gasol in the paint and bring more toughness there. and our new Point Guard, Sun Yue. we saw him play in the Beijing Olympics for China. he's a great ball handler and very efficient behind the three point line. we're winning some rings this season.
