The Forgotten Lair Forums

I thought I'd finally post something on these boards as I've been using the forgotten lair for years in random photoshoppy stuffs, nothing huge don't worry.

I've actually just been looking around the web for some nice forums, these seem nice but um, a bit dead, right? D:

I was thinking about making my own site, something like this, I'm not sure what to call it or what to do with it though. Some server space would be handy though. :3

I always worry about using stock stuff nowadays with all this copyright nonsense gone a bit mad. But yeah thanks for the add, wasn't expecting that lols.

Where do you go for your stocks and scans? People who submit to stock communities usually want their work to be used and may ask for some credit here and there, but for the most part, are okay with it. As for anime scans, as long as you're not selling the work or merchandise from it, it's okay.

I actually use some DA stocks mostly, and whatever random stocks I come across on Google.

But most of the time I just find original anime/manga stuff and extract it myself. If I was doing anything big I'd be doing my own stuff, but I usually really only use stocks and stuff for signatures, either for myself or random signature request threads, guild threads, RPG stuff, etc.
And then, any work I do like that is usually just to try and practice with things, then go and show it off, lol.

This reminds me, I'm actually struggling to make some kind of unique style I like. I've found some artist's DA, IMVU, Live Journal etc and she like, really inspires me to create this style, it's quite a pro-photoshopper kind of thing I know how she's made everything though, I want to make something similar but every time I try it usually ends up near enough the same, fail. ><

My imagination has gone blank I think. x_x
