Softcore as In if my parents went through my photos, they could assume one was a girl by the length of their hair and beauty XD

Otherwise I damn well know some yaoi =]

Well, it doesn't have to be softcore for me, but bdsm usually isn't my cup of tea. Then again, guess I read the Anita Blake series... well, that one doesn't have as much as if she willingly participates in those fetishes. About the only yaoi one I found I liked with some in it is the Finder series. But too be honest, I probably haven't given it a fair try (yaoi reading, not irl...)

You can always just go Shounen-Ai... It's just lovey dovey pecks and hugs there... There's this one series called Asterisks that involves angels and they do nothing more than fight demons and pat each other on the head... It's still a cute manga series though... LOL...

My problem is I'm a romantic, and I just don't find that type of thing...romantic. There is some good ones out there for that, and shounen-ai is fine, if in the mood for fluff. Menkui! Is another little manga series that never goes beyond kissing, but still a cute small series.

Ah well then you probably haven't been reading the right stuff... I only go for stuff with at least a decent storyline. Most of what I like are usually angst in how they hide their relationship from society, their family, how some of them are confused, rejected at first, etc... The best stuff are actually full of dialogue, not so much "action"... It makes it more angsty that way. XD If you want some good titles from me to reintroduce you to the genre, just ask. I can send you a folder with the first chapter or something to preview...

I'm always open to new series. Oh yes, plot is essential and angst is often necessary. My problem is I've had to buy most of what I've read, and what has been translated...well, there are a few good ones I enjoy reading. Never have found a good online resource for the genre.

No no, you have to download the files (jpg files) to read a lot of them. The troubling thing about that is checking for releases and forgetting, etc... Want a chapter?

PM Me. This applies to anyone that is interested in actual plot. LOL. I'll zip a file for you.

For all you lazy bastards:

The story is called Sakende (I Will Shout)

It's the dramatic story about a guy who suddenly has to become a father after his first love and long lost girlfriend has died, leaving their teenage son with him. Quite young himself, and busy with his own life, the young father juggles between a busy work schedule and raising his teenage son, promising himself that he'd never love another woman again. However, it seems the son is the one taking care of his father, as the father is quite unaware of the interest his co-workers are taking to him... Drama ensues...

Read. Get used to the art. :P Tell me if you want the next chapter.

UNZIP EACH FILE FIRST. USE WINZIP OR WINRAR.

Remember to read this as an authentic Japanese manga, reading from RIGHT TO LEFT on each page. Yeah, I left the scanlation site's notices in each folder, just so that you know I'm redistributing their work... They're a dead scanlation site, but give them the credit, etc...

I know I'm double posting. Don't care because this is a spam section...

Anyway, if the above does not interest you because of its art style or lack of ACTION in the first chapter (first volume really... drama remember?) then try this series out:

Probably my current favorite Mangaka by Miyamoto Kano. Download straight from the scanlation site.

First one was good. I can see the internal thoughts behind it leading to a good plot line. I sent you a PM for the next one, but I guess you'll probably post it here anyways.

I'll check out the other one. Lol. Nice user name and password. How fitting. ;) Should I be reading Chapter 00 first?

Hmm, hasn't the first one been translated to "Shout Out Loud" by Blue publishing? I haven't downloaded it yet, but the synopsis sounds like it. That is actually a series I got all five volumes of. It never does get explicit, but does have plenty of drama with both the father and the son. The style may not be as polished as some series, but I actually like it. Love Mode was a harder series to get into the art style for me...but I eventually got used to that one as well. I'll have to check out the second link you've got there, sounds like the type thing I've been looking for.

Yep, Sakende has 5 chapters... It's licensed? Damn, this shouldn't be here then.. XD

Here's the next chapter:

From now on you can see all the chapters I've uploaded here. It's my 4shared account:

I LOVED Lovemode! XD Too bad it got licensed and I was no longer able to download it. Can't find it in bookstores either. :( I'm not about to buy it online and let my parents know about this hobby though... XD

Yes, Sakende is all about drama and you don't see anything explicit, unlike the second one I gave. RULES has a backstory to it, called HYDRA and has many series that branch off, using the same characters. I like both the art and story to it. :) More action though and pretty explicit. No S&M stuff though LOL.
