Yeah, but anyone else think the recent episodes are just a way to get everyone as close to death as possible without necessarily being dead? More than usual, I mean! Just when it seems things are looking up for someone, something comes and crushes them. Been going on for the last, oh I dunno how many episodes...since they split up?!

All the characters impaled with spears and swords left and right...all the massive blood loss...and they just walk away o.o

if you ask me they put Orichime in as an exuse to add immortality. >_>

Every shounen series like this has to have one of those, like the dragon balls. Am I the only one that thinks the people in charge of the anime have been watching too much Deeper Samurai Kyo and Basalisk? And the new little ninja guy? His laughing like a hyena is annoying! Why did they suddenly veer from the manga with no transition at all? One moment he's fighting Grimmjow the next they are in the real world fighting assassin ninja? wtf?!

Plain and simple, fillers. The anime was getting to close to were the manga was at so they threw in the fillers so the anime could distance itself from the manga.

Anyone catch episode 190 yet? The filler episodes ended (in a gay way i might add) And it has gone back to the huco mundo (yes i know i misspelled it). I just finished it and i can say its already making me lose interest. I haven't read the rules so i want spoil anything.

And orichime isnt an excuse for immortality as far as i know she cant revive the dead. She has the ability to reverse time so in her little bubble and once the spirits left the body it cant return. But i'd rather her have the ability to heal cause watching someone die just from the journey back would be lousy

She can revive the dead. Reread the chapter where Grimmjow blows that little girl arrancar apart and she puts her back together again... The other one called her a freak remember? (I think they caught up to that part in the series as well...)

I'm going to guess, based on the manga, that Aizen wants her to reverse something. That experiment Urahara was doing and the stuff being tried out on the former captains... Yeah, bring this to the manga discussion..

Damn your right, i forgot all about her repairing the chick glimmjow blew the piss out of. That makes me sad now, cause they wont ever kill her off and thats kind of a cheap advantage.

Yeah, but I still say the ninja thing was just a rip off of other popular titles...even as filler. Heh, Hellsing just decided to say the Hell with it and write their own story rather than wait for the manga. Hence the newer Hellsing anime. Yeah, I don't mind some filler, but so often it doesn't stand up to the real thing imo.
